so this weekend we had so much fun seeing our family!! I got to see all of my nephews(all 5 of them)! I got to spend some very fun time with my sister and my parents! It was a blast! I am so glad we got to make it to Carp for Parker's birthday! I miss being close to everyone but I know that I appreciate the time we spend together when I see everyone!!!

Marcus and Matthew

So here are some pictures of Marcus and Matthew. Matthew is getting so enormous!! I weighed him today and he weighed in at 16 lbs!!! He is a chunk!! He is enjoying his food so much! And a potty training update.. we have put it on hold. When I started this potty training thing with Marcus last Saturday I had given him some plums, bad idea next poo was diarrhea!!! And then I have been rewarding him with Reece's pieces and those are keeping the diarrhea going! So I have decided that it is not fun cleaning up diarrhea (especially off carpet) and that we will put potty training on hold until the diarrhea is over. So today I have been pumping him with bananas so far he has had 2 1/2 hope full this diarrhea problem will be gone by the end of the weekend!!! Pray for him please!! (Sorry about all the diarrhea you've had to read in this update:)

So this is what we do for fun...

Micah and Marcus were wrestling on the floor tonight and Adrianne thought she would try to drag Micah around the living room, which is a weird feeling for him because he is so big. Needless to say it was pretty difficult, so we pulled out one of our soft blankets to make it easier. It was so funny watching the kids fly off and Micah running around!! We all took turns being pulled around the living room and dining room. Marcus was our little hitch hiker he jumped on the blanket with whoever he could! It was so much fun and such a workout for us adults and we basically buffed the floor at the same time! hope you enjoy the pics!!!

Matthew is changing so much! I can't believe how big he is getting! He is starting to look different to me too. He is doing great eating his food!! He is a little piggy!! So far he has had rice cereal, carrots and peas. And Marcus we are still potty training. He is doing very well. I never thought I would be potty training him now but he does seem so ready. He Is even pooping in his potty! It is going to be nice not buying 2 different sizes of diapers!! Also you probably noticed the picture of the kitty. Her name is Eve. and yes I am a sucker. We got her yesterday from someone who was giving away kitty's. The girls really liked her and she looks like Adrianne's old kitty(who passed away this summer) Simon. The girls said they would take care of her, we'll see how long that lasts.

Marcus' growing up so fast!!

Marcus likes to take showers, yesterday he took a shower with Micah and when he walked out of the bathroom he had wrapped his towel around himself just like his daddy did all by himself! It was too cute the way he was walking around the house. Micah also really felt like Marcus is ready to potty train so we decide to try when we got home yesterday from our outing. Marcus is doing so great!!! He only had one accident in his pull up yesterday and is doing great (so far) today!! He is even going with out me having to tell him! It is so cool. I hope it continues to go this well.

Jenkins family fun!!!

So Micah had a day off yesterday and we had a family fun day!!! We took the kids to the pumpkin patch that we went to last year with aunt Jess and cousin Myles. The kids had a blast! Marcus wanted to sit on the train the whole time we were in the patch I tried to get him to pick out a pumpkin but he would just run back to the train, he called him "Thomas". When we finally got him out of the pumpkin patch area we went to the pond area where he wanted to chase the ducks, which was awesome because not only did he frighten the ducks but he stepped in all their nasty poop too! After that we went to the farm animal part and the kids got to pet some of the animals, the ostrich came right up to the kids for him to pet it. It was kind of creepy looking. The kids also went through 2 hay mazes and got to play at the park there. Finally they went into the Fruit barn store and got a special treat, Strawberry Smoothies!!!! The kids had such a good. After we left we decided it would be fun to go bowling!!! So we did. We played two games and despite her odd way of rolling the ball down the lane Jenna won both games! Marcus had a great time too, he actually got a STRIKE!!! Adrianne came in second on both games, needless to say Micah and I didn't do so well. Any ways I hope you enjoy the pictures!!!!

He did it again....

Well he did it again. This time he fell off my bed! I don't know what I am going to do with this kid!!! Maybe put some lead boots on his feet so he can't climb or jump! Or maybe put one of those wrestling helmets on him! If I would have known boys were this nuts I would have gave him back.... Well maybe not he is still to cute!! Only by the grace of God I am not going nuts and worrying about Marcus with every step he takes, okay maybe I wince a little with every step but hey if he was your kid wouldn't you.

I decided to walk from our house to get the girls from school ( a total of 4 1/2 miles!) I probably wouldn't have done it if I would have realized exactly how far it was going to be! But we made it back fine, Marcus was tuckered out from the walk (you know how tiring it can be just sitting there) and Matthew had a great time. He just looked around at everything. Jenna was not very excited about having to walk and Adrianne was shocked that we were really going to walk home. That is the only thing I miss about our old house was being able to walk to the school all the time. I guess now that I have done it from where we our now it should only get easier. We'll see...

Craft time at the Jenkins house

so we haven't done crafts in a while around here and yesterday we did. Marcus painted a really cool airplane (his first painted craft done ALL BY HIMSELF!!!) He did a great job and his plane came out awesome! Adrianne and Jenna finished off some memo boards they had started a while back, while Matthew sat in the middle of the table and watched. We had a great time! Oh also here is the update on the girls belt test: because the have only been doing Karate for a month and a half the were not able to advance a whole level. They still tested and did well but will only get a black stripe on their white belts until newt time they test(in December) when they will be testing for their Yellow belt. They are really enjoying Karate though.

Matthew's new thing

Matthew is teething! Poor guy he is always gnawing on his hands now and if he is not he is sticking his tongue in and out to rub his gums(which is really funny) hopefully he will get his teeth fast and not teethe for 7 months before they pop out (like poor Marcus, who by the way is still a big time slobber puss.) Also he gave me his first real out loud laugh yesterday it was the best!!!
